For the filming of a new Dramamine commercial, Planet X in collaboration with See Factor was engaged to provide a virtual environment on a 30 foot wide LED screen, including actors inside a real car on set. Using Planet X’s advanced camera tracking system and Unreal Engine based graphic workstations, we were able to provide realistic real time virtual environments, allowing for three different virtual locations with three different sets of actors to be filmed in one day. The result was a cost effective realization of the client’s vision produced in a shorter timeframe than could have been achieved using practical sets.
